Paul Ray Slater

Paul Ray Slater, 86, of Charlotte, NC passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023. He was born in Columbus City, Alabama on August 18, 1937, son to the late James Lafayette Slater and Elenora Morgan Slater. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife Margaret Rose Slater, and son Timothy Slater.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 6, 2023, in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112, with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery.

Paul is survived by his son, Jeff Slater (Penny), daughter Karen Bryan (Blair), daughter-in-law Laura Slater, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
