Paul Anderson Vogler Jr., 86, of Monroe, NC passed away on January 17, 2026. He was born in Cabarrus County, NC on May 21, 1939, son to the late Paul Anderson Vogler Sr. and Ruth Cullins Faulkner.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00PM on Friday, January 23, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, with burial to follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00AM until 11:45AM in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, 732 Indian Trail Fairview Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079.

A proud veteran, Paul served in the United States Marine Corps for five years. He achieved the rank of Corporal during his time in service at the same time earning his Good Conduct Medal, 1st Award, and his 30 Cal. Rifle Marksman Badge. After his active duty service, Paul transferred into the Marine Reserves for a number of years before eventually settling down with the love of his life, Joyce.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Joyce Rowell Vogler, two daughters, Angie Smith (Tom), Elaine Ellis (Jason), three grandchildren, Wesley Smith (Maddy), Annie Zmyslowska (Lukasz), Zach White, two great-grandchildren, Kaden Zmyslowski, Kolin Zmyslowski, two aunts, Nancy Vogler and Diane Snipes.
