Pedro Covarrubias

Pedro Covarrubias, 52, died Saturday, July 12, 2008. He was born in Guadalajara, Mexico on April 21, 1956. Mr. Covarrubias was an American Wick Drain employee, a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and was a soccer coach for The Angels, which he founded. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. He is survived by his parents, Pedro and Isabel Rosales Covarrubias, of Guadalajara, Mexico, his wife, Maria Calleros Covarrubias of Monroe, son, Adrian Chaparro of Monroe, daughters, Claudia Chaparro of Los Angeles, California, Marisol Uribe and Victoria Covarrubias, both of Monroe, brothers, Adan and Juan Carlos Covarrubias, both of Mexico, sisters, Olivia, Magdalena, Diana Nancy, Obdulia, Marta, Eva Isabel, Norma, and Juana Emilia Covarrubias all of Mexico and 4 grandchildren. A Rosary will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 5:30 PM followed by visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Cremation Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 18112.
