Penny Lynn Porter Villanella passed away on Independence Day, Saturday, July 4th, 2015. She was born on March 18th, 1962 in Jefferson County, NY, to Richard Glenn Porter and the Late Lenore Frances Wilson Porter. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 11th, at Lee Park Church. It’s located at 2505 Morgan Mill Road, Monroe NC 28112. A visitation with the family will follow the service. Penny is survived by her loving husband, Louis J. Villanella, her three children, Stephen Villanella of Valdosta, GA, Richard Villanella of Mineral Springs, NC, and Anna Villanella of Waxhaw, NC. She is also survived by her three brothers, Bruce Porter of NY, Richard Porter of NY, and Ben Porter of FL.
