Perry Dedrick Brown

Mr. Perry Dedrick Brown, 84, of Waxhaw, NC passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020. He was born in Buncombe County on February 24, 1935 to the late Clifford and Lola Maynor Brown. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers; Trenton Brown and Alvin Brown. He was a United States Army Veteran, President and Founder of Furniture Factory Outlet World in Waxhaw, NC, he was also the Founder of Samaritans International of Waxhaw, NC. Funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. Burial to follow in Walkersville Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives prior to the service from 12:30PM until 1:45PM at Gordon Funeral Service. Perry is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Marlene Brown, sons; Dedrick Brown (Nancy) of Waxhaw, Patrick Brown (Carolina) of Nicaragua and John Brown (Heather) of Waxhaw, eleven grandchildren; Thomas, Travis, Zachary, Abigail, Chase, Caleb, Lexi, Mackenzi, Hope, Selah, and Brooke, two great grandchildren; Sofia and Harper.
