Dateline: Waxhaw, NC Phil Campbell Lemmonds, 74, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013. He was born January 23, 1939 in Union County, son of the late Roy C. and Glennie Robinson Lemmonds. He is the grandson of the late Rev. Newton and Elizabeth Lemmonds and the late G. Nall and Ella McManus Robinson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Mineral Springs United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will visit with friends and relatives Tuesday, May 21, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe NC 28112. Mr. Lemmonds is survived by his wife, Judith Hill Lemmonds; son, Ricky Dale Lemmonds of Waxhaw; daughter, Phyllis McManus and husband, Ronnie of Dalesville, AL; step-sons, Ray Little and wife Kathy of Oakboro, and Paul Little of Rock Hill; step-daughter, Deborah Rollins of Rock Hill; brothers, Gary Lemmonds and wife, Barbara of Waxhaw and Marshall Lemmonds and wife Brenda of Monroe; sister, Delane McGee and husband, Richard, of Charlotte; grandchildren, Dale Lemmonds, Nicky McManus and Brooke McManus.
