Phillip Hall Pierce, 75, of Monroe, NC passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025. He was born in Petersburg, VA, on January 25, 1950, son to the late Fred Perry Pierce and Lottie Hall Pierce. He is also preceded by his loving wife Yvonne Ritch Pierce; grandson, Athen Gage; as well as his two brothers, Greg Pierce and Tim Pierce.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. Phillip will be laid to rest privately at a later date at Lakeland Memorial Park.
By trade, Phillip was a master electrician. He loved loud music, dancing, and spending time with his family and friends. He loved to laugh and loved to make others laugh with the jokes that he would tell. His greatest love, however, was his grandchildren.
Phillip is survived by his two daughters, Angela Pierce and fiancé Ben Affolter, Ashley Pierce and life partner Ben Lilly; brothers, Ted Pierce, David Pierce, George Pierce; sister, Jane Pierce; and five grandchildren, Serenity, Chloe, Chandler, Nova, and Lottie.
