Phyllis Trull Rorie, 73, of Monroe, NC passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. She was born in Union County, NC on May 16, 1953, daughter to the late John Kenneth Trull and Peggy Willliams Trull.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church, 1106 W Sandy Ridge Rd, Monroe, NC 28112, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00PM until 12:45PM at the church.

Phyllis is survived by her loving husband, Robert Paul Rorie Jr., son Robert “Bobby” Paul Rorie III, daughter, Amy (Rodney) Hatley, two brothers, John “Ken” Kenneth Trull Jr., Alan Trull, and two sisters, Elaine Cunningham, and Anita O’Kelly.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Sandy Ridge Baptist Church, 1106 W Sandy Ridge Rd, Monroe, NC 28112.
