Ralph Murray Adams, 68, died Friday October 19, 2012. Murray was born in Union County, NC October 8, 1944 son of Vera Rorie Martin and the late Kenneth Lamar Adams. He was a retired employee of the N. C. Highway Department. He was preceded in death by a son Jimmy Adams and a daughter Tammie Adams. Murray is survived by his wife Linda Walters Adams; sons Sammy, Lynn and Mark Adams all of Monroe, NC; grandchildren Brandon, Levi, Cody, Hayley and Casey Adams; great grandchild Mackenzie Adams; brother Gene Adams of Jefferson, SC; half-brothers Norman and Aubrey Martin of Monroe, NC and half-sister Julie James of Marshville, NC. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service Crematory, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
