Ralph Funderburk

Ralph Funderburk, 72, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019 in Monroe, NC. He was born on August 19, 1946 to the late Joe Funderburk and Ruth Baker Funderburk. Ralph is also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jo Nell Funderburk; brother, David Funderburk, and sister, Becky Funderburk. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Mt. Springs Baptist Church, 2509 Mountain Springs Church Rd, Monroe, NC 28112, with burial to follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, 5928 New Salem Road. The family will receive friends and family from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. He is survived by his children, Crystal McMorie (Tim) of Lynchburg, VA, Berry Funderburk of Marshville, Robby Funderburk (Alison) of Monroe, and Daphne Lindsey (David) of Marshville; brothers, Ken Funderburk of Mint Hill, and Ray Funderburk of Albermarle; sisters, Doris Funderburk Glenn of Goldsboro, and Ann Funderburk Trogdon of Ashboro; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and many other special family and friends.
