Ralph Stewart Givens

Ralph “Stewart” Givens, 61, of Charlotte, NC passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023. He was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi, on April 23, 1962, he is the son to Roy Givens II and the late Doris Stewart Givens.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Stewart is survived by his wife Sharon Givens, two sons Sean Givens (Sierra Chase), Liam Givens (Allison), one granddaughter, two brothers Roy Givens (Paula) and Robert Givens (Opal), niece Brittany Juergens (Alex).

He was an avid off-roader, fabricator, hiker, and yogi. He was a very progressive and open-minded person, always making himself available to help others.

Stewart was a proud member of the US Air Force from 1983 to 1996, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. During his service, he would earn his bachelor’s degree from Troy University in Montgomery in 1995. He would then go on to earn his master’s from Villanova University in 2005.
