Ramzi Ladkani

June 16, 1943 — May 29, 2019

Ramzi “Ray” Ladkani of Marshville, NC went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the age of 75. Ray was born June 16, 1943 in Haifa, Palestine. His family came to the United States in March 1956. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, including fighting in the Vietnam war. He was an avid football fan, always loving his Miami Dolphins. He always enjoyed woodworking, making beautiful things for his friends and family. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Debbie, his 3 daughters, Renee, Teena and Kristie, his siblings, Bill Ladkani, John Ladkani, and Grace Cohn. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren, and his many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will take place at 4:00pm on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Lakeview Baptist Church 4602 Concord Hwy, Monroe, NC 28110. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:00pm until 3:45pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ray’s memory to the Gary Sinise Foundation, PO Box 368 Woodland Hills, CA 91365, that serves our veterans, first responders, and their families.
