Richard Dale Austin

Richard Dale Austin, 66 of Monroe, NC., passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019. He was born on July 28, 1952 in New Hanover County to the late Laban and Elnora Moser Austin. He is also preceded in death by his granddaughter Elizabeth Williams and sister Gloria Outen. Funeral service will be held at 3:30pm, Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Mill Creek Baptist Church, 5417 Morgan Mill Rd, Monroe, NC 28110, burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00pm until 3:15pm, in the sanctuary. Dale is survived by his loving wife Anne York Austin, and his two daughters; Kelly Sexton (Robbie Wagner) Tracy Austin (Eric Williams), three grandchildren; Asher and Alivia Sexton, Savannah Williams, and sister Kay Hill (Olin), Father and Mother in-law; Charles and Geraldine York, brother and sisters-in-laws; Mike York (Sherry), Steve York (Amy), Greg York (Dawn), Bob Fullwood, and a host of nieces and nephews.
