Richard Carlton Price, 53. of Monroe, NC, passed away suddenly on February 7, 2023. He was born in Union County on March 9, 1969, son of the late Charles Richard Price and Sarah Libes Price. Richard was the Owner of Beam Electric Company in Charlotte, NC, and Old Iron Farms of Monroe.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Roanoke Baptist Church, 618 Roanoke Church Road, Monroe, NC 28110, with burial to follow in Price Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Gordon Funeral Service and Crematory, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Gina McLain Price, daughter Shelby Price, son Charley Price, and mother-in-law Debbie McLain.
