Mr. Ricky Gale King, 73, of Marshville, NC passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020. He was born in Summit County Ohio, on July 21, 1947. He is preceded in death by his father Harry Clarence King as well as his siblings; Daena Mauer, Kenneth King and Roy (Skip) King. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Providence Baptist Church, 3606 Providence Road South, Waxhaw, NC 28173. Burial to follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. Ricky is survived by his mother Garnet Barnhart King, loving wife Patricia Harrison King, son, Jimmy Johnson (Shelly) of Kingsport, TN, five daughters; Kimberly Wiestling (Brian) of Mount Gilead, NC, Michelle Johnson Baker, of Monroe, NC, Laura Byrum (Kevin) of Indian Trail, NC, Sarah McLain (Travis) of Peachland, NC, and Katie Little (Lane) of Peachland, NC, brother, David King (Jan) of Clinton, OH, twenty two grandchildren; Quinn Cable, Jesse (Jessica) Wiestling, BJ Wiestling, Andrew Wiestling, Alex Baker, Devin Baker, Cheyanne Norwood, Brynden Johnson, Shaina Johnson, Justin Sistar, Makayla Helms, Brock Byrum, Madison McLain, Abby McLain, Dallas McLain, Jacob McLain, Chandler Pressley, Garreson McLain, Autym McLain, Jameson Little, Laya Little and Kason Little, as well as two great-grandchildren, Sadie Wiestling and Harmony Johnson and one more great-grandchild on the way. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday, October 2, 2020, at Gordon Funeral Service and Crematory, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.
