Rita T. Davis, 90, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 7, 1936 to the late Gregorio George Mazzotta and Lucia Samperi Mazzotta. She is also preceded by her husband, George E. Davis, as well as her brother, Sonny Mazzotta.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at St. Luke Catholic Church, 9800 Fairview Road, Mint Hill, NC 28227, with burial to follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00AM until 10:45AM in the church.

Rita is survived by her three sons, John Davis, (Tae), Chris Davis (Teresa), Gregory Davis (Tiffany), brother, Greg Mazzotta, and three sisters, Tina Snow, Maria Lagana, Mena Mazzotta, as well as five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
