Robert Stowe Brooks Jr., 60, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021. He was born August 8, 1961 in Union County, North Carolina, son of Mary Alice Deese Brooks and the late Robert Stowe Brooks Sr. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, December 10, 2021 at Hopewell Baptist Church Legacy Campus; burial will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM at Hopewell Baptist Church Legacy Campus at 420 Hopewell Church Rd, Monroe, NC 28112. He is survived by his loving wife Pamela Brooks, mother Mary Alice Brooks, sister Mary Ellis and husband Jim, father-in-law Donald York, brother-in-law Scott York and wife Angie, nephews and nieces Ben Brooks and wife Hope, Dan Brooks and wife Kasey, Mary Anna Ellis, Freddie and Ian York, great nephews and nieces Ava, Henry, Theo, Abby, Maci, and Luke. Robert was a lifelong farmer, a lover of all nature who enjoyed roaming the river with his wife Pam, other family members, and his beloved golden retrievers. Robert loved his family, friends and especially loved his pranks with family and friends.
