Robert William Jones MONROE -- Mr. Jones, age 81, died Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at his residence. Mr. Jones was a WW II US Army veteran and a retired employee of Oro Manufacturing. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 9, 2004 in the Gordon Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Brad Davis. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Lois Hopson Jones, son, Bradley Lee Jones of Monroe, daughters, Judy Jones of Charlotte and Linda J. McWhorter of Monroe, sister, Deliah Sorrells of Jacksonville, Florida, grandchildren, Eric Starnes and Dorian Jones of Monroe and Rachel Hade of Gaffney, SC and 7 great grandchildren.
