Robert Eugene Sr. Parler

Robert Eugene Bob Parler Sr. 90, of Monroe passed away Monday, April 2, 2018. He was born February 14, 1928 in Creston, SC, a son of the late Paul Jefferson and Mary Louis Kemmerlin Parler. He is also preceded in death by a son in law, Arnold Hill, and two great grandchildren. Mr. Parler served in the US Navy and retired from the US Post Office. After retirement he worked for Monroe Parks and Recreation in the J. Ray Shute Center and Dickerson Gym. At Bob’s request funeral services will be private. Bob is survived by his wife of 65 years, Sara Miles Parler, two daughters Ramona Parler Hill, of Monroe, Anna Parler Dahl and husband Joey, of Monroe, three sons, Robert Eugene Parler Jr. Butch and wife Patty, of Charlotte, Al Parler and wife Wanda, Rhett Parler and wife Shawn both of Monroe, he is also survived by, 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.
