Robert Dale “ Robbie-Bob” White, 47, of Monroe NC, formerly of Tornado, WV, fought a courageous battle against a GBM brain tumor lost the battle on Saturday, October 25, 2014, but won the war. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Monday, October 27, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, 732 Indian Trail - Fairview Road, Indian Trail, NC 28079, officiated by Rev. Mike Whitson. The family will visit prior to the service from 4:00 PM until 6:45 PM. A short video of his life will be presented through pictures. Entombment will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Lakeland Memorial Park. Robbie graduated from St. Albans High School in 1985, and in 1992 graduated from CMC as a RAD Tech and received his Bachelors of Science degree from Cabarrus College. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Indian Trail. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who used him to touch many lives. He was an avid hunter, loved to fish and most all outdoor sports He is survived by his loving wife Holly Aycoth White, daughter Savannah Nicole White both of the home, parents Bob and Niki White of Hurricane, WV, his only brother Jerry White , and wife Teresa of St. Albans, WV, his special nephew Alex and Niece Autumn also of St. Albans WV. He had many friends, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was surrounded by many close friends, too many to name them all, who will miss him dearly, especially Mark Whitley who has been a dear friend for 35 years, and Robert Allen who has stuck closer than a brother right up to the end, also Mike Street who was always just a phone call away. The family would like to offer a special heart felt Thank You to the Wilkinson family who went beyond friendship and also all those who showed love and kindness to us through cards, food, visits, and so much more.
