Mr. Roger Dale Harrison, 65, of Waxhaw, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at his residence. He was born July 22, 1949, in Camden, SC to the late Walter Lee Harrison and Viola Polston Harrison. He was also preceded in death by his son, Roger Dale Harrison, Jr. Mr. Harrison is survived by his wife, Mrs. Martha Braswell Harrison; sisters, Brenda Trotter of York, SC, Dianne H. Smith of Waxhaw, Faye H. Stump of Monroe, Kaye H. Katsaras of Silverville, TN, and Patricia H. King, of Marshville; and one grandchild. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 7, 2015, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Center Grove Freewill Baptist Church, 600 NW Main Street, Waxhaw, NC 28173. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM on Thursday, at the church, conducted by Rev. Daniel Cope. Burial will follow in Waxhaw City Cemetery.
