Roger Leland Lott, 79, of Matthews, NC passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023. He was born in Louisville, KY on October 25, 1943, son to the late John Francis Lott and Arleah Strong Lott.
A funeral service will be held with Military Honors at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 15, 2023, in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112 with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM at Gordon Funeral Service.
Roger is survived by his loving wife Barbara Lauer Lott, and daughter Melanie Wilson (David), stepdaughter Muriel Bitz, two brothers Bruce Lott, and Ray Lott, two granddaughters Maggie Wilson, and August Wilson, three step-granddaughters Cari Kennedy (Tom), Kelly Fox, and Kassi Bitz, as well as 6 step-great-grandchildren.
