Roger Lee Robinette Jr., 58, of Monroe, NC passed away on May 2, 2026. He was born in Richlands, VA on January 5, 1968, son to Mildred Toney Robinette and the late Roger Lee Robinette Sr.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, May 7, 2026, in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00PM until 1:45PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

Roger never met a stranger; he talked to everyone he came in contact with. He loved kids, this was probably due to his big kid personality. He cherished time with family the most, he could never get enough time with Jennifer and the kids. Just one more hug, one more “tea-time” with the kids, talking about their days. Family came before anything else.

Roger is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Jennifer Helms Robinette, five daughters, Stephanie Baucom (Andy), Destiny Robinette, Trinity Robinette, Kennedy Robinette, Cassidy Robinette, mother and father in-law, brother in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
