Roger Love Simpson, 69, of Monroe, NC passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024. He was born in Union County, NC on July 21, 1954, son of the late Hoyle Jefferson Simpson and Myrtle Love Simpson. He is also preceded in death by three brothers: Allan Simpson, Joe Neal Simpson, and Olin Simpson, and three sisters: Violet Medlin, Peggy Simpson, and Helen Price.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28111.

Roger is survived by his loving wife, Sue Funderburk Simpson, son, Robert (Rob) Simpson, daughter, Meredith Lyn Simpson (Franswa Hill) and four grandchildren: Hannah Smith, Kayli Simpson, Isabella Hill, and Dominic Hill.
