Roland Boyd Bartlett MONROE - Roland Boyd Bartlett, 77, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013. He was born in Union County, NC on April 8, 1936 son of the late Babe Bartlett and Francis Doris McManus. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 12:45 Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112 followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM in the chapel. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mr. Bartlett was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Louise Purser Bartlett. He is survived by his sons, Tony Porter and wife Chris, Gary Porter and wife Paula, all of Monroe, daughter, Karen Atwell and husband Jeff of Midland, sister, Brenda Bartlett of Monroe, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
