He was born in Union County, NC on August 19, 1957 son of the late Fairley Alexander and Bertha Pressley Alexander Smith. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. Mr. Alexander is survived by his wife, Amy Pfeifer Alexander, brother, James Crawford of Monroe, sisters, Patricia Diane Keziah of Waxhaw, Gloria Deese and Verla Edwards, both of Monroe. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
