Ronald Carlyle Luther, Sr., 69, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017. He was born in Wadesboro, NC on November 26, 1947, son of the late Robert Luther and Nora Bell Tyson Luther. Memorial service will be held Friday, May 19, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Mineral Springs United Methodist Church, 5915 Old Waxhaw-Monroe Road, Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will visit with friends following the service at the church. Mr. Luther is survived by his loving wife, Mary Louise Strickland Luther, a son; Ronald Luther, Jr. of Charlotte, NC, a daughter; Tina Castro of Concord, NC, five sisters; Mickey Crane, Carolyn Gleason, Kay Oxendine, Nora Gleason, and Elaine Cunningham, and four grandchildren.
