Ronald Elwood Walser, 72, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015. He was born in Davidson County, NC on August 14, 1943 son of the late Robert Grady and Elsie Myers Walser. Ron was retired from the Union County School system. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 5, from 10:00 until 10:45 AM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. Burial be held in Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lexington, NC. Ron is survived by a son, Michael Walser of Charlotte, daughter, Kelley Walser Acosta of Indian Trail, brothers, Robert Allen Walser and Lindsey Walser, sister, Jewel Dorsett all of Lexington and a grandchild, Nicholas Walser Acosta. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Little Walser. Memorials may be made to Friendship United Methodist Church, 2840 Friendship Church Rd., Lexington, NC 27295.
