Ronald Wayne Williams, 79, of Monroe, NC passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. He was born in Union County, NC on July 17, 1944, and was the son of the late Troy Webster Williams and Mary Alma Kiser Williams. He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Williams Purser, and a brother, Richard Williams.

Ronald loved to hunt, fish, garden, and mow his lawn. He was also very quick-witted and always had a smile for all he encountered.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Zion Methodist Church, 1521 Old Fish Road, Monroe, NC 28110.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Becky Williams, a son, Randy Williams (Terry) and a daughter, Karen Williams Aldridge (Todd), ten grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and family from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
