Ruben Darrell Fincher

Ruben Darrell Fincher, 66, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020. He was born December 5, 1953 in Union County, NC, son to the late John Ray & Ruth Medlin Fincher he is also preceded in death by his wife Kathy Price Fincher, two brothers; John & Rayford Fincher, three sisters; Colene Price, Lorraine Helms, and Carol Moser. Darrell was a talented carpenter, and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, and camping, but most of all he loved his family and spending time with them especially his grandsons. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday July 8, 2020 at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church, 1106 Sandy Ridge Road, West, Monroe NC 28112. Burial will follow at Price Cemetery. Darrell is survived his children, Belinda Spurlock (Seth) of Monroe, Matt Fincher (Mary Beth) of Weddington, Chris Fincher of Monroe, and three grandchildren; Ethan, Darren and Evan Spurlock, three sisters; Frances Keziah, Ann Rape, and Sue Griffin all of Monroe. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112.
