Ruby Failing Clarkson, 86, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015. She was born in Hornell, NY, on January 31, 1929, daughter of the late Emmett Lee and Nima Dickey Failing. Mrs. Clarkson is survived by her husband, John Charles Clarkson; her sons, Steve and Kevin Clarkson; grandchildren, Joanne and Andrew and great-grandson, Dathan. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 20, 2015, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112.
