Ruby Alice Strawn Hildreth

Ruby Alice Strawn Hildreth, 87, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2009. Born in Union County, January 27, 1921 daughter to late Charlie Lilly Alice Cook Strawn. She was preceded in death by her husband Carlton L. Hildreth, Sr. and one son Billy Ray Hildreth. A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, January 16, 2009 in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mrs. Hildreth was survived by six sons, Henry Hildreth of Jefferson, SC, Paul Hildreth of Mint Hill, NC, Harold Hildreth, Scott Hildreth, Carl Lee Hildreth, and Joe E. Hildreth all of Monroe, NC, four daughters Myrtle Moree of Pageland, SC, Irene Turpin of Charlotte, NC, Diane Walker of Franklin, NC, and Aleen Hildreth of Monroe, NC, 27 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, and 15 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 15, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Cremation Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe NC 28112.
