Ruby Jewel Pressley

Dateline: Monroe, NC Ruby Jewel Pressley, 81, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013. She was born in Union County on March 11, 1931, daughter of the late Onis and Dora Ann Williams Guion. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Craven Eugene Pressley. Mrs. Pressley is survived by her daughter, Barbara Richardson, of Charlotte; brothers, Harold Guion of Ft. Mill, SC, Vance Guion, Benny Neal Guion and Cecil Guion, all of Monroe, Brice Guion of Concord and Larry Guion of Charlotte; sisters, Arliene Brown of Charlotte, Betty Jo Helms of Mt. Holly and Shirley Kay Guion. A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 3:00 PM in Secrest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 4505 Weddington Road, Monroe NC 28112. The family will visit with friends and relatives Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe NC 28112.
