Russell David Melton, 44, of Monroe, NC passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021. He was born in Union County on November 29, 1976. A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00PM until 1:45PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. He is survived by his father, David Melton, wife Susan, his mother, Kendra Sue Mitchell Melton, a brother, Shannon Sims, and a sister, Sheena Coppin (Philippe), step brother, Daniel Melton, step sister, Hayley Melton, two nieces Chiara Coppin, Shania Coppin and nephew, Kameron Coppin, as well as his fur babies, Dee and Emmy.
