Ruth Bryant Trull

Dateline: Wingate, NC Ruth Bryant Trull, 92, passed away Monday, February 4, 2013. She was born in Union County on January 7, 1921, daughter of the late Clement Marshall and Betty Elizabeth Smith Bryant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Wilson Trull; three brothers and four sisters. Mrs. Trull worked as a punch operator at GM Acme Nameplate and attended Austin Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 8, 2013 at 2:00 PM in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will visit with friends and relatives prior to the service from 12:30 – 1:45 PM. Mrs. Trull is survived by her son, Wilson Trull and wife Kathy of Wingate; daughters, Sue Trull of Wesley Chapel and Bobbie T. Shannon and husband Gordon of Wingate; sister, Myrtle Johnson of Monroe; sister-in-law, Lucille Bryant; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank her caregivers, Sarah Rogers, Sue Griffin, Susan Mask, Lillian Broome and Patsy Rollins and the staff of Carillon Garden Place for the loving care and attention they provided for her.
