Ruth Helms Collins, 93, passed away October 8, 2020. She was born in Mecklenburg County, December 4, 1926 daughter of the late Vern Wilson Helms, Sr, and Monnie Connell Helms. She is also preceded in death by her husbands, Carl Lee Wolf, Sr. in 1966 & Bascom Collins in 1995, a son Carl Lee Wolfe, Jr., two brothers; Vern W Helms, Jr, and Bob Helms, a sister Louise Taylor, and a granddaughter Donna Arnder. A private graveside service will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, 2301 Rocky River Rd. N, Monroe, NC 28110 She is survived by her daughter Margaret Carter, son Paul Wolfe, (Sherry) three step-sons; Jerry Collins, Ronnie Collins, and Richard Collins, two step-daughters; Wanda Arant, and Debra Bigham, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren, and numerous step grandchildren and great step grandchildren.
