Ruth Ann Vandemark Sink, aka Butchie, age 78, passed away on August 30, 2024. She was born in Middletown, NY, on February 7, 1946; daughter to the late Joseph T. Vandemark and Eleanor Simon Vandemark. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Jerome “Jerry” Vandemark as well as her brother-in-law, Al Schubert.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 6, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Waxhaw United Methodist Church, 200 McDonald St. Waxhaw, NC 28173.  The service will be live-streamed from Waxhaw UMC's YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/@waxhawumc4503/streams

She is survived by her brother, John Vandemark (Nancy), sisters, Jo-Ann Schubert, and Jodie Vandemark-Aracci (Dominick), her son AJ Sigler (Sharon Romanik), daughter Meloni DiGaetano (Michael), grandchildren Samantha Lynch (Fred), Jessica Dougherty, CJ Sigler, Brendon Sigler, Michael DiGaetano, and great-grandchildren Lilah Lynch, Aria Lynch, Thomas Murphy, Michael Murphy and Bentley Sigler.
