Sabina Sandra Walters Medlin, 88, of Monroe, NC passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026 at home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Union County, NC on September 7, 1938, daughter to the late W.B. Walters and Bessie Taylor Walters, she is also preceded by her loving husband, Braynon “Lee” Leander Medlin, as well as her six brothers, William “Bill” Walters, John Walters, Ben Walters, Spencer Walters, Ralph Walters, and Gene Walters, and two sisters, Lizzie Volp, and Mildred Pressley.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Lakeview Baptist Church, 4602 Concord Hwy, Monroe, NC 28110 with a private family entombment at Lakeland Memorial Park.

She is survived by her two sons, Lynn Medlin (Gina), and Kevin Medlin (Patricia); daughter, Kim Harris (Robert), sister, Francis Arant, three grandchildren, Garrett Harris, Meghan Harris Markle, and Elizabeth Medlin.
