Sabra Lewis Hance, 75, of Waxhaw, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025. She was born in Union County, NC on December 10, 1949, daughter to the late George Arthur Lewis Sr. She is also preceded in death by her first husband Albert Gordon and brother George Arthur Lewis Jr. and grandson Kyle Gordon.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00PM until 1:45PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

Sabra is survived by her mother, Lillian Melton Lewis, husband, Gary Hugh Hance, two sons, Rodney Gordon (Ramona), Gregory Lynn Gordon, stepson, Eric Hance, stepdaughter Chrissy Hance, brother Lynn Lewis (Penny), six grandchildren, Aaron Gordon (Amanda), Caleb Gordon (Lindsey), Christian Gordon (Jayme), Kelsey Miller (Noah), Katie Cuthbertson (Mason), four step grandchildren, Tyler Hance, Bailey Hance, Christian Simmons, Millie Simmons, sixteen great grandchildren and one on the way.
