Louise Tucker Rushing, 91, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020. She was born June 3, 1929 in Union County, NC daughter of the late H.D. & Lessie Furr Tucker. She is also preceded in death by her husband Onice Rushing, daughter Sue Y. Rape, two brothers; Homer Tucker and Mac Tucker, six sisters; Sarah Hargett, Ellen Tucker, Daisy Hill, Jane Byrum, Mandy Bigham, and Hanna Furr, and a great granddaughter Mylee Sue Griffin. A funeral service will be held 11:00 Am, Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Roanoke Baptist Church, 618 Roanoke Church Road, Monroe NC 28110. Burial will follow in Shiloh Advent Christian Church Cemetery, 3601 Sikes Mill Road, Monroe, NC 28110. Louise is survived by a daughter Gale Y. Baucom, (Frank), three grandchildren; R. Darren Baucom (Karen) of Monroe, Anthony B. Baucom of Lexington, KY, and Monica B.Griffin (Richard) of Monroe, seven great grandchildren; Mackenzie B. McManus (Andrew), Caleb Baucom, Greenlie Baucom, Reagan Griffin, Wriston, Griffin, Macie Griffin, and Maggie Griffin, a brother Johnny Tucker, a special niece Jean McCoy, a great great nephew, J.D.
