Sandra Jean Hargette, 50, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Born in Union County to Donald Leon Hargett and Jimmy Moore Crane Hargett. Sandra was a disabled Army veteran and an avid hand bell player. She was a loving mother and grammy. A celebration of life service will be held Friday August 30, 2013 at 3:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church of Monroe, 302 E Windsor St Monroe, NC 28112 with a reception to follow at the church. Ms. Hargette is survived by her daughter Krystal Shuntell Grier of Monroe; parents Donald and Jimmy Hargett of Monroe; sisters Karen Annette Pittman (Bobby) of Elm City NC, Deborah Leah Hargett of Clayton NC; granddaughter Leyla Mari Hilton; and her loyal companion Chewey.
