Sandra Gail (Griffin) Privette

Sandra Gail GiGi Privette, 60, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018. She was born October 1, 1957 in Union County, NC daughter to Annie Love Griffin and the late Ernest Gilbert Griffin, she is also preceded in death by her mother-in-law Mable Privette. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, March 5, 2018 at West Monroe Baptist Church, 1212 Icemorlee St., Monroe, NC 28110. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Sandra is survived by her loving husband Maurice Privette, a son Chris Privette, wife Monica, mother Anne Love Griffin, three grandchildren Taylor, Caylee, and Peyton Privette, three sisters Sherry Nash, husband Todd, Trudy Starnes, husband Toby, and Robin Okeefe, two nieces Vanna Nash, and Lilly McKnight, five nephews, Jemery Nash, wife Haley, Brandon Anderson, Jason Starnes, Wesley Starnes, and Gilbert McKnight, and wife Stephany. She was a member of the Monroe Rotary Club, where she served as treasure. She received the service above self award, and a Paul Harris fellow. She was on the board of directors for the Red Cross and the Rhapsody in Red committee, and she was a member of the downtown Monroe advisory board. The family will received friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe NC 28112.
