Sandra Kay (Hinson) Thomas

Sandra Hinson Thomas, 68, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017. She was born August 18, 1949 in Union County, NC, daughter of the late Carl Wilson and Eva Mae Hinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Thomas; two brothers, Roy and Durrell Hinson. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, October 30, 2017 at Lee Park Baptist Church, 2505 Morgan Mill Road, Monroe, NC 28110. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will visit with friends and relatives Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM in Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC. She is survived by her daughter, Alanda Bruckner and husband Russ of Monroe; son, Cameron Thomas and wife Kenan of Marshville; grandchildren, Karsyn and Ryder Thomas; brothers, Ted Hinson and wife Janis of Oakboro and Doug Hinson and wife Sandra of Rock Hill, SC.
