Sarah Aycoth Carter, 91, of Monroe, NC passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024. She was born in Union County, NC on April 18, 1932, the daughter of the late William Aaron Aycoth and Minnie Bell Greene Aycoth.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at New Hope Methodist Church and burial will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park.

Sarah is survived by her son, Aaron Eugene Carter, and her daughter, Kimberly Carter Wade, four grandchildren: Sarah Ann Carter, Christine Carter, Jacob Wade and Emily Carter Gibson, and three great-grandchildren: Jocelyna Soto, Nathan Aaron Carter, and Joshua Alexander Carter.

The family will receive friends and family from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at New Hope Methodist Church, 3221 Plyler Mill Rd., Monroe, NC 28112.
