Sarah Elizabeth Hill, 95, passed away Monday December 26, 2016. Mrs. Hill was born January 20, 1921 in Union County, a daughter of the late Edmond and Ida Hill Newsome. She was preceded in death by her husband Mitchell P. Hill and a son Maurice N. Hill. The funeral service will be held 11:00 am Thursday December 29, 2016 in the chapel of the mausoleum at Sharon Memorial Park, 5400 Monroe Road Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends and relatives following the service. Mrs. Hill is survived by a daughter Michele Demby and her husband Larry of Waxhaw, a grandchild Cameron and his wife Suzanne of Waxhaw.
