Sarah McGuirt McClain, 92, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018. She was born October 30, 1925 in Union County, NC daughter to the late David Wilson Nora Dovie Griffin McGuirt. She is also preceded in death by her husband Thomas “Wade” McClain. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, January 26, 2018 at Waxhaw Baptist Church (Round Top) Cemetery. Mrs. McClain survived by children, Donald and wife Juanita of Marshville, Judy Steele, Sherry McClain and Davie McClain, grandchildren, Chad, Sean and Clint McClain, Kara Keith, Tammy Rabon, Michelle Plyler and Jonathan McClain; seventeen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
