Sarah Hill Morgan, of Monroe died Sunday, April 8, 2007. She was born in Abbeville, SC and attended Abbeville schools and Lander College. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Michael Morgan and Jo DuPre Morgan, brothers, Dr. John Michael Morgan, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC and Joe Dupre Morgan of Gadsden, AL. She is survived by sisters-in-law Nell W. Morgan of Florence, SC and Betty Klaus of Gadsden, AL. Also surviving are her nephews John Michael Morgan III (Pam) of Florence SC, and Joe D. Morgan, Jr., and Scotty Morgan (Beki) of Gadsden, AL, and nieces Genie Cunningham (Eddy) of Gadsden, AL and Mary Nell Morgan Pittman of Gainesville, FL. Other surviving family members include Meredith Morgan Banner (David), Jack and Morgan Banner, and Dr. John Michael Morgan, IV (Cynthia of Florence, SC, Eugenia Cunningham and Morgan Cunningham of Gadsden, AL, Drew Pittman of Stuart, FL, Ashley Pittman of Charlotte, NC and Clayton Pittman of Gainesville, FL. Funeral services will be held from the graveside at Monroe City Cemetery, (Suncrest) at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 10, 2007. Gordon Funeral Cremation Service of Monroe is serving the family.
