See Vang, 57, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021. She was born May 1, 1963 in Laos, daughter of the late Yang Vang and Mee Thao. Funeral services will begin at 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021 and continue at 6:00 a.m. Sunday, March 21, 2021 in Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in Waxhaw City Cemetery. Mrs. Vang is survived by her husband, Chia Thao; sons, David Thao, John Thao, Frank Thao, Steve Thao, Peter Thao and Bruce Thao, all of Waxhaw; daughters, Sandy Thao and Nancy Thao (Kevin Lee), both of Hickory and Judy Thao of Waxhaw; brother, Teng Vang of California; sister, Phoua Vang of California and a younger sister living in Laos.
