Funeral services will begin at 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021 and continue at 6:00 a.m. Sunday, March 21, 2021 in Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in Waxhaw City Cemetery. Mrs. Vang is survived by her husband, Chia Thao; sons, David Thao, John Thao, Frank Thao, Steve Thao, Peter Thao and Bruce Thao, all of Waxhaw; daughters, Sandy Thao and Nancy Thao (Kevin Lee), both of Hickory and Judy Thao of Waxhaw; brother, Teng Vang of California; sister, Phoua Vang of California and a younger sister living in Laos.
