Waxhaw NC Sharon Ann Valentine 69, died Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Born April 25, 1939 in Meridian, MS, daughter to the late Clifton and Adeline Harbour. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Huey Valentine, son Bryan Toman Valentine, and two granddaughters Alexis and Victoria Valentine. Mrs. Valentine was raised in Meridian MS, graduate of Mississippi College for Women with a masters in Art/Drama; an accomplished writer, musician, teacher, and song writer, she was a devoted Christian, loving grandmother; an avid reader, and devoted her life to caring and saving animals, and known by her signature phrase “Angels Watch Over You”, and now she had gone to be an angel to watch over us. A memorial service will be held 12:00 PM Friday, January 2, 2009 in Heath Memorial United Methodist Church 9907 Richardson King Road Waxhaw, NC, 28173 with visitation to follow. She is survived by her children Robert “Rob” Valentine and wife Cissey of Taylorsville, MS, Robin Valentine Reed, and husband Charlie of Concord, NC, Shannon Messina and husband Charlie of Fort Mill SC, and Richard “Rick” Valentine and wife Rebecca of Concord NC, grandchildren Ryan Valentine, 16, Evan Valentine, 14, Madison Reed, 13, Christian Messina, 15, Avery Valentine, 8, and Abigail Valentine, 6., and brother Brian Harbour, and wife Cathy of Summit, MS.
