Shauna Karen Leonard

Shauna Karen Leonard, age 61 of Monroe, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2025. She was born in Oneida County, NY on November 27, 1963, and was the daughter of the late Carl Edwin and Karen Smith Leonard.

Shauna simply loved life. Her smile was infectious, and she loved to laugh. She especially loved listening to rock and roll music and loved spending time with her cats. She had a passion for helping others and always enjoyed working. She also loved her family and friends and the time she was able to spend with them.

Shauna is survived by two brothers, Todd Leonard (Christine) of Williston, VT and Chad Leonard (Wendy) of Reno, NV; and a sister Kalli Clements (David) of Indian Trail. She is also survived by five nephews, Jared, Alex, Tyler, Justin and Nathan.

A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. Friends may visit following the service.

Interment will be private at a later date.
